Oh, hey; I have a comic cover that I have a week to finish.

...no, wait. Less than a week. I'm visiting the family for Piefest 2008 Thanksgiving.

I forsee an all-nighter. Actually, looking at my workload, I may need two all-nighters. D:

Finally freakin' FINISHED it. It took two months of off-and-on work, a power surge wiping out some work that as a result had to be done over, and surprisingly no booze, but it's DONE. As I mentioned on the dA version; I know that there are others that are much better than I at CGing and take less time in some cases, but what I wanted out of this was a learning experience and to get better; not just to try to be the best. I think I accomplished that here. :D

Of course, it wouldn't have been made possible by everyone who gave critique on the draft version, as well as erika_m_r, CKOAnime, kuni_bob, and sorceressakemi 's input when I posted the WIPs. You guys are awesomesauce.

And, because I'm a masochist, I am already planning my next big CG project. But first; survive AWA.

For whatever inexplicable reason, I find colouring a comic page to be, well, rather tedious. Even when I work in my weakest medium (inking), I at least get some sense of enjoyment, but whenever I pick up my stylus I just trudge along. :/

EDIT: Oh, thanks random power outage! You always seem to show up whenever I've put some work onto something without having taken a moment to save it! And how funny that it was that damned comic I was trying to colour, too...! Argh, fuck it. I'm gonna work on something BY HAND, because I don't need fucking electricity to use my pencil. D:<

...didn't I promise to post art? I should get around to that.

Oh, and you can't tell, but inside I am flailing about the fact that AWA is less than a month away. :B

...In case anyone ever wanted a peek into the method behind my artistic madness, I made a little "insider's peek" at how I come up with a cover illustration. I posted it this week at Vicious-Violet Dot Com, with text all over it because my design ability is used solely in my fashion design. :>

...I'm surrounded by so many sketches, illustrations, and works-in-progress, that I cannot for the life of me find where this one project I wanna work on is hiding. IT COULD BE ANYWHERE. D:
