Not sure if anyone has caught this, but a vid showing clips of the Gurren Lagann dub has been posted. It contains a scene dubbed, and then the original Japanese language follows.

Bear in mind that  the sound quality on the dub side of the video isn't that great and therefore one may not be able to form a proper opinion, but for all my fellow GL fans here, if you've not seen it, here's a chance to get a bit of a feel of what to expect from the dub.

As for my own opinions: I am often not anti-dub. I'm not one of those anime fans that are all 'SUBS OR GTFO", but I must confess that Gurren Lagann is an exception because much of the acting is over-the-top but in an entertaining and fitting way, and I'm not sure the dub can capture this. As for my opinions on the dub thus far, I'm saving judgment until I hear a better quality version, and see more than a few clips, since they don't really cover the more "epic" material (for understandable reasons.).
